Terms of Service
Last updated: June 17, 2026
1. Who Operates ComplyReady
ComplyReady (the "Service") is an open beta service operated by its founder, Dragan, an individual based in Serbia. ComplyReady is not yet a registered company. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the founder operating ComplyReady. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Open Beta — Important Notice
ComplyReady is currently in free open beta. Please understand:
- The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", with no warranties and no service-level agreement (SLA).
- The Service is under active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.
- There may be downtime, interruptions, bugs, or data issues. Do not rely on the Service as your only system of record.
- We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time.
3. Description of Service
ComplyReady is a SOC 2 readiness toolkit. It includes AI-assisted security questionnaire answering, security policy generation, compliance readiness tracking, and read-only verification of your connected cloud and source-control accounts (see Section 7). The Service helps you prepare for security reviews; it is not a certification or audit service.
4. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or to other users' data
- Upload malicious code or files
- Misrepresent your identity or organization
- Connect cloud or source-control accounts you are not authorized to access
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without permission
6. No Payment During Open Beta
ComplyReady is currently free during open beta. No payment is required and no credit card is collected. If paid plans are introduced in future, these Terms will be updated and you will be notified before any charges apply. A company is expected to be formed before paid plans launch, and these Terms will be revised accordingly at that time.
7. Connected Cloud and Source-Control Accounts
The Service lets you connect accounts such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, OpenStack, and GitHub so it can check your security configuration. By connecting an account:
- You grant the Service read-only access for the sole purpose of running security checks.
- The Service only reads configuration and metadata. It never modifies, deletes, or creates resources in your accounts.
- You are responsible for the access you grant and for ensuring you are authorized to connect those accounts.
- You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting in the Service or removing the access in your provider.
How connected-account data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide and operate the Service.
9. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to draft questionnaire answers and security policies. AI-generated content is a starting point only and must be reviewed for accuracy before you rely on or send it. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content and are not responsible for decisions made based on it.
10. Compliance Disclaimer
ComplyReady is a readiness and preparation tool — it is not a substitute for a formal SOC 2 audit. Verified scan results indicate the current state of your configuration; they are not an attestation. Using ComplyReady does not guarantee SOC 2 certification or compliance with any regulatory framework. Formal certification requires an independent auditor.
11. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided free during open beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service, which during open beta is zero.
12. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the founder of ComplyReady and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
13. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page; your data will be deleted within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service, and we may suspend or wind down the open beta itself. Where reasonable, we will give notice before discontinuing the Service.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves — for example, when a company is formed or paid plans are introduced. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, the jurisdiction in which the founder operates ComplyReady, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
